Fencing @ Robinson River

Robinson River is located southeast of Borroloola on the banks of the Robinson River and Garawa Aboriginal Land Trust

The main outcome for this project was to extend the current fence that had been displaced due to a new septic that had been put in to support the growth of the ranger base (new toilets and showers that had been built).  INLOC conducted training to teach the rangers skills in order to build the fence themselves. This gave rangers the skills to maintain and upkeep the fence and gain potential for fee for service works in the area.

Rangers worked hard during the week, through the build-up (as this training had been postponed 3 times in the last 12 months due to impacts and restrictions from COVID-19), to construct the new fence and were very proud of what they accomplished.
