Crown of Thorns Starfish control @ Great Barrier Reef

The INLOC team aims to protect coral in the Great Barrier Reef from damage by Crown of Thorns Starfish (COTS). The COTS outbreaks cause significant damage to coral reefs across large areas, and are one of the major causes of coral decline across the Great Barrier Reef over the past 40 years. The COTS prey on mainly hard coral and can eat their way through 10 square metres a year.
